fact, Mr. Sparks would be very close to retiring and “packing it all in” if he did not feel so supported by
and affiliated with his colleague Ms. Crash. The company is publicly-traded stock, yet the stock price is
below where Mr. Sparks believes it ought to be (the company balance sheet in fact looks very good,
perhaps making the stock a “deep value” buy). Your objective is to write a proposal for SC Co. to define
the problem and describe an intervention that would help address the issue. Answer the following
points in your proposal: Define the problem as you see it. From the readings that we have encountered
so far, selected any theoretical perspectives that you believe shed some light on the difficulties faced by
the company and Mr. Sparks. In your paper, provide brief descriptions of these theories and how they
are believed to impact people. Apply these theories to the current setting. Provide several clearly
worded proposals for actions that might improve the situation. The finished document must have a
professional appearance to it, as you are acting as a consultant hired by SC Co. For any published work
that you cite, provide a reference in APA style in the reference section at the end of the document. (I
know that not every field uses APA style, but we need to choose one style and stick with it). The
anticipated length of the document would be perhaps three pages of double-spaced text (not counting
any title page if you use one, or the reference page). You may use single spaced text if you prefer, in
which case the page length would be two pages.
